Kruger National Park Prices for Entry, Accommodation and Activities

Kruger National Park prices are an essential part of planning your safari.  Types of costs to consider include:

  • Entry
  • Accommodation
  • Activities, e.g. game drive tours, bush braais, 4×4 trails, hiking trails, golf, etc.
  • Food, i.e. self-catering, eating out
  • Car hire
  • Petrol

The cost of accommodation, activities and entry are questions we get asked a lot, so we’ve put a price summary together to help with your Kruger safari budget.

Quoted prices are generally valid from 1 November 2018 to 31 October 2019.

Entry Fees

*SADC countries are Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Congo, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Wild Cards

Alternatively, a Wild Card, which gives you unlimited access to a range of parks, may be better value.

Day Visitors

Day visitors who make bookings in advance also need to pay R43 per adult and R22 per child.



South African citizens or residents who are pensioners and over 60 years of age are eligible for accommodation discounts.


Golf Course

Kruger Park has an 18-hole golf course a short drive from Skukuza Rest Camp.

Motorised carts, trolleys and caddies are also for hire.
