The cost of accommodation, activities and entry are questions we get asked a lot, so we’ve put a price summary together to help with your Kruger safari budget.

Entry Fees

Day Visitors

Day visitors who make bookings in advance also need to pay R46 per adult and R23 per child.  Read more on our full page about day visitors to Kruger National Park.

Accommodation

We have listed the very lowest prices for accommodation within Kruger National Park.  Accommodation prices vary between rest camps and also depend on low, shoulder and high season rates.

If you’re staying outside Kruger National Park and making day trips in, your accommodation cost could be at the budget end if you choose to stay at a backpackers’.  Be prepared to spend a lot more if you want to stay at one of the many luxury lodges surrounding the park.

Pensioners

South African citizens or residents who are pensioners and over 60 years of age are eligible for accommodation discounts.

Activities

Golf Course

Kruger Park has an 18-hole golf course a short drive from Skukuza Rest Camp.

Motorised carts, trolleys and caddies are also for hire.
